Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese to coat it in the flour mixture.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and honey until well-blended.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
  • Spread the batter evenly in the prepared loaf pan.

Baking

  • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
