Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with foil or use an oven-safe skillet.
  • Boil a large pot of water and carefully drop in the corn. Cook for 5–6 minutes until slightly tender, then drain.
  • In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and smoked paprika.

Cooking

  • Place the boiled corn cobs on the prepared baking tray and generously brush with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese blend generously over each buttered corn cob.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, then switch to broil mode for 2–3 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden-brown.

Serving

  • Sprinkle a little extra parsley on top before serving hot. Optional: serve with lime wedges for a citrusy zing.

Notes

Select the freshest corn available, experiment with different cheese blends, and adjust garlic levels to taste. Prepare the garlic butter mixture ahead of time to save on prep.
