Instructions

Preparation

  • Season the chicken cubes with garlic herb seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and cook the seasoned chicken for about 6-8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  • Boil a large pot of salted water, add pasta of choice, and cook until al dente; usually takes 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Slice the tops off the kaiser rolls and hollow out the centers to create bread bowls.
  • Mix melted butter with garlic herb seasoning and brush inside and edges of each roll.
  • Place the buttered rolls on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 4-5 minutes until toasted.

Assembly

  • Toss cooked pasta with Alfredo sauce and sautéed chicken until well coated.
  • Fill each toasted bread bowl with the chicken Alfredo mixture.
  • Sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese over filled bowls and return to the oven for another 4-5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley or red pepper flakes, if desired.

Notes

For the best results, cook chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Slightly undercook pasta if planning to bake. Variations include different cheeses or added vegetables. Can prepare chicken and pasta ahead of time.
