For the salmon

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, chopped parsley, green onions, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir well until combined.
  • Slice a deep pocket on the side of each salmon fillet, ensuring not to cut through completely.
  • Stuff each salmon pocket generously with the seafood mixture, packing it in firmly.

Cooking

  • Place stuffed salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet.
  • Drizzle tops with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with more salt and pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, use fresh seafood. Consider adding a sprinkle of lemon zest before serving or a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat. A topping of crispy breadcrumbs can add delightful crunch.
