For the sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter for a rich, velvety sauce

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the lobster tails by using kitchen shears to cut through the top shell. Gently lift the meat, allowing it to rest on the shell.

Cooking

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, followed by Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, stirring continuously. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over the meat.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the meat turns opaque and firm.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

Use fresh lobster if possible. Adding seafood stock to the sauce enhances umami. For a bit of heat, sprinkle red pepper flakes.
