Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large baking dish, gather the boneless chicken, softened cream cheese, dried parsley, dried chives, dried dill, garlic powder, and paprika. Season generously with salt and black pepper.
  • Add the chopped onion, cream (or coconut milk), and salsa verde to the chicken mixture. Mix in the pickled jalapeños if desired.
  • Blend in 1/2 cup of the grated parmesan cheese until the chicken is well-coated.
  • Dot the surface with slices of salted butter.
  • Spread chopped broccoli evenly over the chicken mixture.

Baking

  • Bake for approximately 30–40 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • After baking, stir the mixture and sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese on top.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
