  • 1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs Adding that perfect crunch factor
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese An aromatic, salty essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Enhancing the dish with a zesty lift
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted Bringing richness to the coating

For the main ingredient

  • 1 can quartered artichoke hearts, drained (15 oz) Tender goodness in every bite

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Prep the Artichokes: Pat the drained artichoke hearts dry with a paper towel to ensure they are not too moist.
  • Mix the Coating: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and garlic powder together. In another bowl, stir together the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Coat the Artichokes: Dip each artichoke heart into the buttery garlic mixture first, then roll it in the breadcrumb and cheese mixture until fully coated.
  • Arrange and Bake: Place the coated artichoke hearts on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • Serve: Let them cool slightly before serving. These artichoke hearts are best enjoyed warm.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding paprika or cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture. Substitutions such as olive oil for butter or shredded mozzarella can be made for variations.
