Ingredients

For the Salmon

  • 400 g skinless salmon fillet Tender and flaky for richness.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Adds silky finish and healthy fats.
  • 2-3 tbsp Everything Bagel seasoning Infuses salmon with garlic, onion, and sesame flavors.
  • Salt & pepper, to taste Foundation of flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika or chili flakes Optional for extra kick.

For the Oniony Dip

  • 100 g cream cheese, softened Forms the base of the dip.
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt or sour cream Adds freshness.
  • 2 scallions, finely chopped Brings crunch and bright flavor.
  • 1 tsp lemon juice Adds zesty brightness.
  • Extra scallions or chives for serving Garnish for color and flavor.
  • Lemon wedges for serving Enhances acidity.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy texture.
  • In a bowl, toss the salmon with olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika if using.
  • Press each salmon cube firmly into the Everything Bagel seasoning until well coated.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set to 200°C (390°F) and cook for 6–8 minutes, shaking halfway through.

Prepare the Dip

  • In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, chopped scallions, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Serving

  • Plate the warm salmon bites alongside a generous portion of the oniony dip. Garnish with extra scallions or chives and lemon wedges.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for the best results. You can bake the salmon if you don't have an air fryer.
