Ingredients

Pastry Base

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (250 g), thawed Light, airy, and versatile base.

Filling

  • 1 whole burrata (approx. 125–150 g) Creamy, delicate centerpiece.
  • 2 pieces ripe peaches, sliced into wedges Brings summer sweetness.
  • 1 tsp olive oil Enhances grilling process.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances natural sweetness.
  • 40 g roasted pistachios, roughly chopped Provides color and crunch.
  • 1–2 tbsp balsamic glaze Adds tangy sweetness.
  • to taste fresh basil or thyme (optional) Adds refreshing finish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Shape the thawed puff pastry into a rough circle and cut a small circle from the center to create the wreath shape.
  • Fold and crimp the outer edges slightly, brush with the beaten egg and sprinkle with seeds if desired.

Baking

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Allow to cool slightly on a wire rack.

Grilling Peaches

  • Heat a grill pan on medium-high, drizzle olive oil, then add peach wedges. Grill for 2–3 minutes per side.

Assembly

  • Place the burrata in the center of the cooled pastry.
  • Arrange grilled peaches over the pastry, sprinkle with chopped pistachios, and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Ensure puff pastry is fully thawed for even baking. Avoid overcooking peaches to retain their texture. For visual appeal, arrange ingredients thoughtfully.
