Instructions

Preparation

  • Spread the softened butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread and set aside with the buttered side facing down.
  • On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread 1 tablespoon of cream cheese each.
  • Evenly sprinkle garlic powder and dried dill over the cream cheese.
  • Layer each cream cheese slice with 2 slices of cheddar and 2 slices of mozzarella cheese. Top with 1/4 cup of sliced dill pickles on each sandwich.
  • Close each sandwich with a slice of sourdough bread, ensuring the buttered side is facing out.

Grilling

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the assembled sandwiches in the skillet.
  • Grill for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Serving

  • Allow the sandwiches to cool for 1 minute before slicing in half. Enjoy hot for the best flavor experience!
