Ingredients

For the Gummy Mixture

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Adds a slight kick; optional for kids.
  • 1 teaspoon finely crushed dill weed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar Provides sweetness.
  • 1 cup dill pickle juice Main flavor base.
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin Essential for gummy texture.
  • a few drops green food coloring Optional, for visual appeal.

For Molding

  • gummy worm molds or any small silicone mold Choose according to preference.

Instructions

Bloom the Gelatin

  • Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over the dill pickle juice in a small pan. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes.

Heat and Mix

  • Gently warm the pan over low heat, stirring continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  • Add the granulated sugar, finely crushed dill weed, garlic powder, and optional food coloring, stirring until smooth.

Fill the Molds

  • Carefully pour the mixture into gummy worm molds using a dropper or small spoon.
  • Tap the molds on the counter to release air bubbles.

Chill to Set

  • Place the filled molds in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours until firm.

Unmold and Store

  • Pop the gummies out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

For extra zing, add a splash of hot sauce to the mixture. If desired, use flavored gelatin for different gummy experiences. These gummies are fun for all ages and perfect for parties!
