Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon honey (or monk fruit sweetener for a low-calorie option)
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle juice from the jar, brimming with tang
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced aromatic and savory
  • 2–3 units jalapeños, chopped fresh, remove seeds for milder flavor
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar to enhance acidity
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for that extra kick
  • to taste teaspoon salt start with 1/4 teaspoon to balance flavors
  • 1 cup chopped dill pickles crunchy and briny
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika adds depth and a hint of smokiness

Instructions

Preparation

  • Roughly chop the pickles, jalapeños, and garlic. If you want to tone down the heat, simply remove the seeds from the jalapeños before chopping.
  • Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor. Don’t forget a pinch of salt to kickstart the flavor.
  • Blend until smooth or leave it chunky, depending on your preferred texture. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of water or additional pickle juice to reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste and tweak to perfection! Adjust the flavor by adding more salt, vinegar, honey, or a dash of spice depending on your heat preference.
  • Pour into a sealed jar and refrigerate for at least an hour before using. This step allows the flavors to meld beautifully.

Notes

Experiment with spice levels by adjusting the amount of jalapeños or cayenne pepper. Use fresh ingredients for vibrant flavor. Feel free to add other spices like cumin or coriander for variety.
