Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless chicken thighs or breasts Tender and juicy chicken pieces.
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or chili paste Offers a vibrant, spicy kick.
  • 1 tbsp honey Balances the heat with sweetness.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Adds aromatic essence.
  • Salt & pepper, to taste Simple seasoning.
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil For searing the chicken.

For the Broth

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for aroma.
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter For a rich, velvety broth.
  • 4 cups chicken broth Savory base for the sauce.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Adds creaminess to the broth.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Adds umami flavor.
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional) For extra heat.

For the Ramen

  • 2 packs ramen noodles Discard seasoning packets.
  • 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped For garnish.
  • 1 item soft-boiled egg (optional) For beautiful presentation.
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional) For garnish and flavor.

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken

  • In a mixing bowl, coat the chicken with sriracha, honey, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Chicken

  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side until cooked through and charred. Let it rest, then slice into thick strips.

Prepare the Broth

  • Melt unsalted butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, and heavy cream. Simmer for about 10 minutes.

Cook the Ramen

  • Boil ramen noodles according to package directions, discarding the seasoning packets. Drain and set aside.

Assemble the Bowls

  • Divide ramen noodles among serving bowls. Ladle creamy garlic broth over the noodles, then add sliced chicken on top.

Garnish & Serve

  • Sprinkle with chopped green onions, add soft-boiled egg and sesame seeds if desired, and drizzle with chili oil before serving.

Notes

Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavor. Do not overcook ramen noodles; aim for al dente texture.
