  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix Enhances savory profile with aromatic onion goodness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  • In a bowl, stir together the cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, water, and minute rice until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the dish and spread it evenly across the bottom.
  • Place the chicken pieces on top of the rice mixture.
  • Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over everything.
  • Cover tightly with foil and bake for 90 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Marinate the chicken for extra flavor, and feel free to experiment with added herbs like thyme or rosemary. Check internal temperature of chicken to ensure it reaches 165°F (75°C). If frozen leftovers, reheat thoroughly before serving.
