Ingredients

For the filling

  • 1/2 lb ground beef Use high-quality beef for the juiciest results.
  • 1/2 tsp salt To enhance the natural flavors.
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper For a subtle kick.
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder To infuse the filling with garlic taste.
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder To complement the beef.
  • 2 tbsp ketchup Adds sweetness and tang.
  • 2 tbsp mustard Adds a zesty kick.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Provides richness.
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese Cut into small squares.

For the dough and topping

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough The base for the bombs.
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter Melted for brushing.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder For brushing before baking.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Nutty addition.
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley Chopped for garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  • Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, and mustard. Stir well.
  • Remove from heat, mix in shredded cheddar cheese, and let cool slightly.
  • Flatten each biscuit round to about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Place a spoonful of beef mixture in the center of each dough round, topping with cheddar square.
  • Pinch dough edges to seal and form a ball.

Baking

  • Place dough balls seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Once baked, brush with extra melted garlic butter and sprinkle with parsley.

Notes

For best results, make your own dough and consider adding pickles or jalapeños. Serve with favorite dipping sauces.
