Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed chocolate graham crackers with the melted butter. Mix until each crumb is evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie dish to form a sturdy crust. Chill in the refrigerator.
  • In another large bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture.

Assembly

  • Spoon the peanut butter filling into the prepared crust, smoothing the top. Return the pie to the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours.
  • Melt the semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  • Once the filling has set, pour the melted chocolate over the top of the pie and spread evenly. Optionally, sprinkle chopped peanuts on top.
  • Chill for an additional 30 minutes to let the chocolate set before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before mixing. Whisk heavy cream until stiff peaks form to maintain pie shape. Consider healthier alternatives for a lighter version.
