Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, and salt.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Pour in the cold milk and melted butter, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Drop mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  • While baking, mix melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and salt for the topping.
  • Brush the topping over the hot biscuits when they come out of the oven.
