Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil and heat over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.

Cooking

  • Introduce 1 pound of ground beef into the skillet. Use a spatula to break it apart and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • If there's excess fat, drain it to keep the dish light.
  • Stir in the diced sweet potatoes along with 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, and salt and black pepper to taste.
