Instructions

Cooking the Ravioli

  • Fill a large pot with water, adding a generous amount of salt. Bring it to a boil and add the lobster ravioli. Cook according to package instructions, typically between 3 to 5 minutes for fresh ravioli.
  • Reserve 1/4 cup of the starchy pasta water before draining the ravioli. Set aside while preparing the sauce.

Preparing the Lemon Butter Sauce

  • In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes, without letting it brown.
  • Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, broth, and red pepper flakes. Allow to simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Lower the heat and whisk in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmering for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Tossing the Ravioli in the Sauce

  • Gently add the cooked ravioli into the skillet with the sauce, carefully tossing to ensure they are evenly coated.
  • If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is reached.

Serving & Garnishing

  • Transfer the lobster ravioli onto warm serving plates, spooning extra sauce over the top.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped basil or parsley before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh ingredients. You can use store-bought lobster ravioli to save time. Consider alternatives to lobster like shrimp or crab, and add vegetables for extra nutrition.
