Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add the wet ingredients: buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix on medium speed until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in the hot water, then gently fold in the M&M’s Peanut Butter.

Baking

  • Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
