  • 12 oz Lasagna noodles Wide, flat noodles
  • 1 lb Ground beef Juicy and flavorful
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped
  • 24 oz Tomato sauce Rich and tangy
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese Shredded for topping
  • 2 tsps Italian seasoning Herb blend
  • to taste Salt Essential for seasoning
  • to taste Pepper Essential for seasoning

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, cook ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • In a baking dish, layer noodles, beef mixture, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers, finishing with mozzarella on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

This lasagna can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator. For variations, try substituting ground turkey or different cheeses. Best paired with a salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
