Ingredients

For the crust

  • 14 sheets graham crackers Crispy, honey-flavored treats for the base.
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted Acts as the glue, binding the crust together.
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar Adds sweetness to the crust.

For the filling

  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bars Ensures each bite is decadently rich.
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows Creates a gooey layer of sweetness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch pan by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Lightly grease the lining to ensure easy removal later.
  • Mix the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar together in a bowl until well combined. The mixture should resemble wet sand.
  • Press it firmly into the bottom of your prepared pan, creating an even layer.
  • Bake the crust for 8–10 minutes until set and golden at the edges, then remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Assembly

  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the hot crust. Give it 2–3 minutes to melt slightly before spreading into an even layer.
  • Scatter the mini marshmallows evenly over the layer of chocolate.
  • Return the pan to the oven for another 5–7 minutes until the marshmallows are puffed and lightly golden.
  • For an extra toasty finish, broil for 1–2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • Cool completely before slicing the bars into squares.
  • For tidier cuts, chill the bars in the fridge for about 30 minutes before cutting.

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. They can be frozen for up to three months.
