Ingredients

Marinade and Chicken

Broth

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter Adds richness to the broth.
  • 4 cups chicken broth Provides depth and warmth.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream For a luxuriously creamy texture.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Brings umami flavor.
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional) Extra heat for adventurous eaters.

Noodles and Garnish

  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning) The comfort food addition.
  • 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped Adds color and flavor.

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken

  • In a medium bowl, coat the chicken thighs or breasts with sriracha, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Chicken

  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes on each side until cooked through. Let the chicken rest before slicing.

Prepare the Broth

  • Melt unsalted butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce, add heavy cream, and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Add chili oil if desired.

Cook the Ramen

  • Boil ramen noodles according to package instructions, discarding the seasoning packets. Drain and set aside.

Assemble the Bowls

  • In individual bowls, divide cooked ramen noodles. Pour creamy garlic broth over noodles and arrange sliced chicken strips on top.

Garnish & Serve

  • Garnish with chopped green onions, and add soft-boiled egg and sesame seeds if desired. Drizzle with more chili oil for heat.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate chicken longer. Consider adding sautéed vegetables for extra texture. Fresh herbs like cilantro or basil can enhance freshness.
