Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by spraying it generously with non-stick spray.
  • Layer the sliced onions evenly in the dish, keeping them in their natural round shape.
  • Sprinkle the onions with salt, garlic powder, and oregano.
  • Place butter pats evenly over the onions.
  • Add the Italian blend cheese and cheddar evenly on top.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan last.

Baking

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in a preheated oven or microwave. You can substitute Vidalia onions with yellow onions or shallots, or add sautéed mushrooms for flavor.
