Tremendous Savory Steak Bites and Shrimp

Ingredients

For the steak

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for steak)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (for steak)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (for steak)

For the shrimp

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for shrimp)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (for shrimp)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (for shrimp)
  • to taste Salt and black pepper (for shrimp)
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for shrimp)

For the sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Marinate the Steak

  • In a large bowl, mix the steak pieces with minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let this mixture marinate for 15 minutes.

Cook the Steak

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the marinated steak in a single layer and sear for about 3–4 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp

  • In the same skillet, toss the shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
  • Cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until they are pink and fully cooked. Remove and set aside with the steak.

Make the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Stir in soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, thyme, and rosemary. Let this mixture simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Combine and Serve

  • Add the steak and shrimp back to the skillet. Gently toss everything in the buttery sauce and heat for another 1–2 minutes.
  • Serve hot for an unforgettable dining experience.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the steak longer. You can add red pepper flakes for spice, or mix in seasonal vegetables like zucchini or bell peppers for variety.
