Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine apple slices, pear slices, and cranberries (if using). Drizzle with melted butter, sprinkle in brown sugar (or honey/maple syrup), a pinch of salt, and cinnamon. Toss the fruits until they are delightfully coated.
  • Place the Brie wheel in the center of the lined baking dish, surrounded by the coated fruit.

Baking

  • Bake for 10–15 minutes until the Brie is soft to the touch and the fruits are caramelizing. Broil for an additional 1–2 minutes for deeper caramelization.
  • Once out of the oven, top with chopped nuts (if desired) and drizzle with extra honey or maple syrup. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme.
