Instructions

Roasting the Strawberries

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Toss the strawberries in a medium bowl with balsamic vinegar, honey, and black pepper.
  • Spread the strawberries out on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast them in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are soft and caramelized.
  • Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool slightly.

Preparing the Whipped Feta

  • In a food processor, combine crumbled feta, cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, and a generous pinch of black pepper.
  • Blend the ingredients together until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  • If you prefer a looser consistency, feel free to add a bit more olive oil.

Assembling the Dish

  • Spread the whipped feta onto a serving plate or in a bowl.
  • Create a beautiful swirl pattern with the back of a spoon for a visually appealing presentation.
  • Spoon the roasted strawberries generously over the whipped feta.
  • Drizzle with a touch of additional olive oil, and sprinkle with chopped basil or mint.
  • If using, garnish with black sesame seeds for an elegant touch.

Notes
